The beach is somewhat rocky, with the best snorkeling to the left of the beach, extending outwards about fifty yards from the shoreline.
Marine Life
You may see the following maring life while snorkeling in Kealakekua Park:
- Spinner dolphins
- urchins
- sea cucumbers
- butterfly fish
- yellow long nose butterfly fish
- yellow tang
- white mouth moray eels
- coral

Accessibility
Head south on highway 11 to about the 111 mile marker. There will be a sign at Napo'opo'o Road. Turn right here and head down the hill. Turn right at the bottom and you will see the park and beach straight ahead.
