Honoka'ope has very few crowds. The best entry is in the center of the beach. When conditions are clam, you can snorkel out to the left, beyond the point. To right, you will find very little.

Accessibility
Heading north on highway 19, look for the Mauna Lani sign. Head toward the hotel and go through a roundabout. Turn left onto South Kaniku Drive. When you come to the guard house, ask for public access parking. Follow the road to the parking lot. The beach is about a hundred yards from here.
