Ka Lae, also known as South Point, is the southern most tip of the United States. Swimming and snorkeling are recommended for the experienced only. There are iron ladders down 30-40 ft. to the water, but use caution.

Accessibility
Heading south on Highway 11, turn on SOuth Point Road. The road is very rough and marrow, at times only one lane. Drive past the wind mills where you will find a parking area.
